At O.I.S there are a lot of kids who don’t do any sports at all during the winter because at the moment Oamaru’s weather is pretty rubbish, but that’s not going to stop the community sports which is on every Friday. There are a number of sports to pick from ranging from good old rippa rugby to golf this gives children a opportunity to try new things, improve their confidence, and also most important thing making new friends.
