Extension Maths

Posted by: deidresenior | March 31, 2008 | No Comment |

Extension maths is taught by Mr. Martin for the students at O.I.S who show the potential and ability to push themselves further. Students will find themselves enjoying the challenge of an extra hairy maths question, quite often within a time limit and competing against their classmates and Mr. Martin himself. Extension maths is something that challenges the young maths brainiacs in all areas including parts of maths that they thought they knew well already. They are taught how to work out a variety of maths problems including large division sums, percentages, fractions and many others. It is very rewarding and extends the students maths knowledge outside the square. By Ivan
